[Next we have Dr. Chuck Thurston.]

I'm a board certified emergency physician for almost half a century. I've worked in nine states and almost as many countries on foreign medical missions. I have more degrees than a thermometer. And my last year was spent as a COVID ICU hospitalist managing ventilators and pronouncing hundreds of people dead.

I'm perfectly aware of the seriousness of this situation.

I started out working at Billie Jean King 471 FEMA Hospital in New York City, where we used hydroxychloroquine, and to my knowledge, nobody died.

I then proceeded to work up the Rio Grande from El Edinburg to Laredo to El Paso, where we had somewhere between a 95% and 75% death rate, and no hydroxychloroquine was used.

I'm not here to speak on behalf of that medication.

All of my patients that died had been wearing masks. I got COVID. I'm almost 70 years.

I have hypertension and diabetes and I am allergic to Lysinopril, which is an ACE inhibitor.

All of my patients who died in El Paso, I talked to families many times, had either a relative or themselves been allergic to Lysinopril.

Next, the ACE (angiotensin ? unclear words) on site that the COVID virus enters.

Zinc kills the virus and other medication introduces zinc to the virus.

Everybody was wearing a mask. I wore a mask. I wore an M-95 mask properly. But masks do not work.

You might just as well put up a -- a chain link fence to keep out the mosquitoes.

It's that different. That's how big the difference is between the one-micron virus sizes and the web and the weave of most paths, including an M-95.

Surgeons and doctors like myself use masks properly. We don't touch them. We don't touch our face. We don't have saliva on them.

Most people who wear masks actually spread the disease. They get it on their hands and the primary mode of spread is not respiratory. It's touching your face with your hand, touching your hand on the doorknob, and another person touching the doorknob.

I'm extremely sympathetic for the fearful nature of people who have people who are children who are immuno-compromised, but masks would not help them one way or the other.

This is not an issue; masks don't work, and all cells have the same rights that we do. (An interesting analogy follows-- ed) They have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

The pursuit of happiness was described by Claude Bernard in the Sorbonne in the mid-19th century as homeostasis, or a steady state, and a living cell is different than a dead cell because a living cell can alter its environment.

And they also have the right to alter or abolish any government that is contrary to those ends, and so the virus--an RNA virus-- are simply forms of government that have been introduced to a perfectly healthy cell and commandeered that cell, told that cell what to do, subjected it to death; refused to allow it to do its job that the DNA of that cell would already have it do, and stops the pursuit of happiness. So we have been endowed by our Creator not only with those rights, but with the mechanism to sabotage viruses, not the virus itself.

When the virus comes into the cell, it sabotages the virus. And viruses do not mutate, they are sabotaged by the cell, and social distancing eliminates that; masking eliminates that, so masks do not work.

Note to reader: Dr. Thurston likened the mask (or social distancing that permits appropriate exposure) to the tyranny of a government that will not permit an individual to properly protect himself or herself from an intrusion by an enemy. The mask prevents the wearer from proper immune response. The DNA of the cell that has been taken captive by the RNA virus of COVID and must be given the opportunity to alter its environment. This can be facilitated through hydroxychloroquine and zinc, and other means. In the same vein, he would like for the fearful people to realize they have rights under our Constitution. They have a right to freedom from the mask.
