Who is helping ICE?
ICE

Oldham County Detention Center and Bullitt County Detention Center are both partnering with ICE … Indiana’s Clark County is not listed on the ICE website as having a 287(g) partnership but is assisting ICE in connection with its contract with the U.S. Marshals Service. Two other Kentucky counties (not part of LMSA area -ed) have also signed 287(g) partnerships with ICE — Grayson County’s detention center and sheriff’s office and Daviess County’s sheriff's office.

What is the 287(g) Partnership?

In Oldham County, KY Citizens for Democracy want to end the 287(g) agreement. Watch and listen.

LMPD will not assist ICE
LMPD Chief

"We signed up to do local municipal police work, and that's what we plan to do. When someone commits a crime in our city, we will enforce that. But we don't have the intent or the authority to enforce immigration orders," Humphrey said... "So, do we have any plans to train with ICE? No, we don't have any intention of doing that type of work," he said.

Louisville has an ICE office on South Seventh St. that serves Kentucky and Clark, Floyd, and Harrison Counties in Indiana.

Drugstores across the United States are facing serious challenges, with Walgreens at the forefront of the struggle. Over the past five years, Walgreens’ stock has dropped more than 80%, making it one of the worst-performing stocks in that period. The company is now closing 1,200 stores, around 15% of its total locations, and exploring a deal with private equity firm Sycamore Partners to take the company private, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal. -AI from MSN.com

FEMA support for what?

Elon Musk reported that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) spent $59 million last week alone – all on immigrants in New York City. Part of that was for housing, including luxury properties like The Row and The Watson, meant for tourists headed to see the marquees of Broadway. (Later the feds clawed back $80M from the city).

Open the Books previously reported that FEMA had an enormous $8 billion shortfall in its Disaster Relief Fund following the catastrophic damage of Hurricane Helene. Read more.
