The Kentucky Opera will present 'As One' in April featuring a transgender protagonist. It is not described as a tragedy though numerous resources on the web are exposing the dangers of medical and surgical transitioning.
Just the News reports that side effects of transgender transitions include death, and The Patriot Point news describes transgender 'health' as anti-science.
The Civitas Chamber of Commerce for LGBTQ businesses held its annual meeting in March 2024 at the Seelbach. Business First reported, "In addition to the education programming, the summit will include a drag show at The Hub and a trip to the Kentucky Derby Museum."

The Metro Council passed an ordinance in 2020 to put LGBT-certified businesses in the diverse supplier base of Metro Louisville.
The Courier-Journal is a staunch supporter of LGBT goals.
So, with big media, the arts and government on their side, it looks like transgenders are in the catbird seat in Louisville Metro.
