TALK's Sixth Techfest a Marvel

Louisville's annual Techfest on August 22 & 23 was a fascinating look into AI, cybersecurity and workforce software, with keynoters both days plus fantastic speakers from the community and beyond. It was held at the Bonnycastle Club in the Highlands.

Kentucky’s Madison Gooch, VP of WatsonX at IBM America, explained that IBM provides AI opportunity. “Many don’t know that today IBM is an AI business.”

Gooch advised companies seeking to select an AI platform to ask:

• How was the platform trained?
• Can it detect and minimize bias and 'hallucination' (info not based on anything)?
• Is it safe?
• Is it transparent?
• Can it be customized?
• Does it support regulatory compliance?
