Former Pussycat Doll headlines Right to Life of Louisville Gala

Right to Life of Louisville (RTLL) held its Annual Gala on March 18. The featured speaker was Kaya Jones, the youngest of the Pussycat Dolls in the early 2000s. Kaya is now a Christian vocalist known for her Grammy Award with Jason Crabb for Let It Be Love. She speaks out against abortion, explaining that she nearly lost her soul from aborting her babies.

The mission of RTLL is to educate the community about pro-life issues and to advocate for the protection of human life at every stage. Founded in 1971 two years before Roe v Wade, RTLL is Louisville’s oldest pro-life organization. The Gala is its largest fundraiser and was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Former Metro Councilman Robin Engel received the Donna Durning Community Award for his commitment to RTLL, serving on its Board, participating in events and rallies, and standing as an advocate in city concerns.

Dr. Monica Miller received the Margie Montgomery Award for her activism and outreach to women about to abort their children, and for discovering and speaking out against the discarding of fetuses in trash bags or the sewers of Detroit.
