The John B. Castleman statue won't be trotted back to its former location near Louisville's Cherokee Park, city officials say, despite a Planning Commission decision that the statue's supporters hailed as a win.
The administration of Mayor Craig Greenberg says it is looking for "new options" for the statue's original site – in the center of a roundabout at the intersection of Cherokee Parkway and Cherokee Road.
